For emergencies that require Fire/EMS/Police, please call The Rocklin Emergency number
(916) 632-4093 (instead of 911).
They request we identify the section of field they will need to respond to i.e.
Northwest - Jr. Pee Wee/Pee Wee and Jr.Midget/Midget football
Southwest- Cheer
Northeast- usually open
Southeast- usual Mighty Mite area.
If the incident is at Whitney H.S. You can call the location by name as they are familiar with the campus.
In the event of an emergency, please do your normal rapid assessment of the child, then notify the first aid personnel and parent if medical attention appears necessary. It will be the parent's decision if they need transport by ambulance. However, in cases of seizure or loss of consciousness, Fire/EMS shall be contacted immediately.
If an injury is suspected to the neck or back, do not remove a players helmet. Face masks can be unscrewed at the cheeks to hinge the mask forward , revealing the face. If assessment of joints, long bones, or chest are necessary- the uniform pants and jerseys can be cut at the seams to reveal the site, leaving the garment repairable.
We currently have two small medical boxes for the individual teams and four more will be purchased and stocked, per request. Please let me know if your box additional stock or if you need any additional equipment for games/practices.
